There’s no time-limited trial. The Free plan is available forever. You can use it as long as you need to evaluate whether PQAI+ is right for you before upgrading.

What happens if I cancel?

You can cancel anytime — no fees, no questions asked. You’ll retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Do you offer refunds?

We don’t offer refunds on any plan.

What can I do with the 20 API requests/month?

You can make up to 20 programmatic calls to the PQAI API. It can be useful for integrating patent search into your own tools, automating searches or testing an integration before committing to a higher volume plan.

What happens when I hit my 20 API request limit?

You’ll stop receiving API responses until the next billing cycle.

I need more than 20 API requests/month. What are my options?

Is API access available on the Free plan?

No. API access is only available on PQAI+ Monthly and Annual plans.

Do you store my search queries?

No. PQAI does not store your search queries. Every search you run on the platform remains private. We have no record of what you searched for, when you searched, or what results you viewed. Your research stays yours.

Do you store my patent data or documents?

No. We do not store, log, or retain any documents or data you upload or interact with on the platform.

Is my data safe with PQAI?

Yes. PQAI follows industry best practices for data security across all plans, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, token-based authentication for API access, secure infrastructure with access controls, and regular security reviews.

Who can see my searches?

Nobody. Your searches are not visible to PQAI staff, other users, or third parties. We do not sell, share, or use your search data for any purpose.

Do you share my data with third parties?

No. We do not sell or share your personal data or usage data with any third parties.

It automatically suggests the most relevant Cooperative Patent Classification codes for your invention or search query. This saves you time and improves search accuracy.

What is Technical Concept Extraction?

It identifies and extracts the core technical concepts from any patent, making it easier to understand what a patent is really about without reading the full document.

What is Patent Data Retrieval?

It lets you pull structured patent data (titles, abstracts, claims, and citations) directly for any patent in our database.

Can I use PQAI+ for commercial work?

The PQAI search engine can be used for commercial research purposes on all plans, including Free. This covers patent searches for client work, law firm research, invention disclosure and due diligence.

However, if you want to integrate PQAI into your own product or platform via API, that requires a commercial API or Enterprise plan. Contact us to discuss your options.

Can I share my PQAI+ account with colleagues?
