PQAI offers a free version that covers all the basics. But if you need more results, faster processing, and API access, upgrading to PQAI+ is
PQAI’s Similar Words tool helps you discover related keywords for any technology or concept you’re exploring. This can improve your search by introducing terms you may not have considered but are commonly used in patents.
It’s especially useful when your original query isn’t giving the most relevant results or when want to know different terminologies if you’re working in a broad or an unfamiliar domain.
#1. Go to search.projectpq.ai
#2. On the left-hand sidebar, click on Similar Words.
#3. In the input box, enter your core concept or technology in short and click Submit. PQAI will surface all related keywords for the technology.
These keywords are semantically connected to your input, including system terms, application areas, and adjacent technologies. You can use these terms to refine your PQAI queries or copy them into other patent databases and advanced search engines
This tool is especially useful when you’re not sure what terminology the patent literature uses. It helps you think beyond your initial phrasing.
