PQAI is a powerful AI-based patent search tool that lets you explore millions of patents and research papers using plain-language queries. It searches results from across 68+ patent offices and over 100 million scientific papers.
You don’t need an account to get started. PQAI lets you search in guest mode, where you can view up to 20 results per query.
However, if you want to see more results or access extended features, you’ll need to sign in.
Here’s how to do it:
#1. Go to search.projectpq.ai
#2. Click the Guest user icon at the bottom of the left sidebar.

#3. Upon clicking on it, you will be presented with a Sign in button.

#4. When you click on it, you will be given two options to sign in. You can either continue with Google or Twitter.

To sign in with Google:
#5. When you click Continue with Google, a pop-up window will open. You can log in via your regular Chrome profile or add another email address you want to log in with.

#6. Once you give the appropriate permissions, you will be signed into the PQAI account. That’s it, your account is created.
To sign in with Twitter (optional):
Though less common, you can also log in via Twitter.
#7. To do so, click Continue with Twitter when offered the option to sign in.

#8. Log in to your Twitter account when prompted. Once the appropriate permissions are given, you will be signed in and can start fresh or continue your search, if you started in guest mode.
Once signed in, PQAI doesn’t save your queries unless you explicitly save them. Your searches remain private, and your account simply helps you unlock extended results and features.
